Hooks & Hazards was born out of the Minnesota tradition I grew up in — time on the water, time on the course, and time spent appreciating the outdoors.

I learned early what matters most. My grandfather taught me how to fish — how patience and peace can bring you closer to nature. My dad taught me how to golf — how focus, discipline, and a good laugh make the game what it is. And my mom showed me the beauty of God’s creation — how every sunrise, every quiet lake, and every fairway is a reminder of something bigger than us.

Those lessons became the foundation for Hooks & Hazards.
